An introduction from our directors
Gascoynes are delighted to announce the opening of our new Ipswich office following the acquisition of Finnigan & Co as of the 1st of November. Following discussions throughout the year with Peter Finnigan, we have agreed to continue servicing his clients and allow him to start to enjoy his retirement.
Peter will be carrying on with Gascoynes’ Ipswich branch in a consultancy role for the next 12 months to ensure all clients are successfully passed over and to help support us along the way. We will be located at Finnigan & Co’s previous address of 37 Lower Brook Street, Ipswich, IP4 1AQ so for existing clients we expect little change in their day to day dealings.
When explaining the reason behind the acquisition, Managing Director, Chris Reeve said “We have been planning our next growth phase for some time.
Whilst the past few years have been challenging for all, we knew that a third office was always part of our vision with Ipswich being the ideal location to allow us to service a wider area of East Anglia.
This is an exciting move for us and one we can’t wait to get started with.”
Peter, who is now taking on a consultancy role whilst starting to wind down, added “’I’m really happy to pass on the reins to a well established firm like Gascoynes. I am sure they will be able to offer all my clients the usual good service with a personal touch.”
Heading up the Ipswich office initially will be Beth, Daniel and Thomas who are looking forward to the new challenges.
